Hello- I have two of each. My redfoots are more personable. The come to me when I go in their enclosure or if I’m outside they wait to see if I’m coming over. My sulcutas just do their own thing. The also aren’t as active as the redfoots. Now my redfoots are both 5 and my sulcutas are two.

First let me say I have sulcutas, redfoots and I volunteered with gophers ( also not to mention two wild gophers live in my yard) and nothing beats a gopher for the ability to burrow out of enclosures. They are tenacious and I’ve seen them burrow under a sidewalk overnight. The wild ones...
My redfoots are very personable and come trucking over when I enter the pen or talk to them but they are 5 and I’ve had them since they were babies. My two sulcutas not so much but they are only 1 year and really just want to eat.
