Should I still get it looked at at the vet? I don’t want it to get infected or get worse.

My hingeback appears to have a tear/cut near his jaw. It’s also affecting how he eats. I’m going to take him to the vet as soon as I can so it doesn’t get infected but I wanted to get your opinion.

Thanks for the advice! I soaked him for a while and he pooped! Cleared out now and so glad.

Make sure you’re soaking him two or three times a week in warm/room temperature water. He could be constipated. Also, does he have a hide or a cave-like structure for him to crawl under?
