    They mated three days in a row Jan 5-6-7 th. and the female has gained 50 grams in 3 weeks. Should see some eggs around Feb 16 th.

    Very great news. Usually zoos are the worst at breeding reptiles and normally focus on fuzzy mammals.

    Platysternons hatching

    I'm not sure what it is..All I see is that it's slime on the shell (partial yolk sack maybe?) not shell damage. They did just fine after hatching. Have no idea where they are now.
