Today I went to the pittsburgh reptile show. I picked up 2 red tails for $60. Both are hypos. A male and female. The male's name is Venom sand the female is Hyper.

This will be my first expo. Anyone else attending?

I may be getting a silver morph red tail boa for $125

I am quite aware of the danger of keeping larger constrictors. I will have have a strict rule of only handling large boas/pythons with a partner encase something does go wrong.

I was thinking if a boa/python would be easier to care for. Always wanted a constrictor, especially a red tail

I think I'll stick with leopards and sulcatas

Well turns out I probably won't get a tort. The reason is I got a little surprise. A rottweiler puppy. A guy I know felt bad about the death of my Newfie, so he gave me a free rottweiler. I'm thinking of naming him Bandit.

Are softshell turtles realatively easy to care for? How large do they get? Are they aggresive?

How easily are snappers kept?
