I found that chopping the food up really tiny( so they can't pick through it) and mixing it with something they like like fruit will help "wean" them back onto greens. My tortoise used to be really picky until I started doing this. Now she will eat pretty much anything.

I went to the river and found some cool looking drift wood. At Petco or another store I have seen smaller pieces of wood that cost about 20$ what a waste! It's totally safe as long as you spray them down with hot water in the sink. Here is a picture of a hide that I made out wood.
