    Penile Prolapse

Had the exact same thing happen to a sulcata I used to have. Did the exact same remedies you tried, eventually the tissue turned necrotic and the penis had to be amputated. Apparently this isn't all that uncommon I guess.

    Just a Mazuri Question...?

My torts definitely dont like the LS diet as much as the standard mazuri tortoise diet. Fixed em good though, I mix both pellets up 50/50 so they basically wind up eating both.

First Reported Case of Intranuclear Coccidiosis in a Tortoise

I have no clue who you are but this post is awesome. I have successfully treated both radiated and hermanns tortoises with baycox. I took it on the advice of Dr. Paul Gibbons et al at the Behler Center to use baycox, NOT PONAZURIL as they reported much higher rates of successful treatment with...

    Brygooi group help

Hey Anthony, thanks for the reply. Could you offer any possible explanation as to the seemingly high percentage of males that seem to be out there in comparison? Something to do with incubation perhaps? Thanks.

    Brygooi group help

Behler has offered to "surplus" Paa in the past, but that's about it I think. These would look really pretty in your office Evan! ;) Thanks for the tips.

    Brygooi group help

This is Will E. right? I'm pretty sure we're friends on facebook just FYI. I'm definitely NOT a turtle "flipper". The deal is I have a CB 04 that I purchased from Will Ahrens as a hatchling. It took 11 years to show me its true sex. Because it was on the smaller side it always appeared to be...

    Brygooi group help

Hey everyone, for those who don't already know I have a couple male P.a.b if anyone here could use them let me know. Also if anyone here knows of any way possible to acquire a female that would be awesome. I'm a realistic person though, so if anyone knows any zoo's who could benefit from them...

    Yearling Pangshura Smithii

Really? I think the tecta are gorgeous. The smithii are a little dull colored in my opinion. Too bad the ESA is messed up and wont allow for tecta. Cool turtles you have nonetheless.

    My little jewls

Mine go outside every day. I mist them once or twice daily with the mist setting on the hose. Also half their substrate is filled with New Zealand Sphagnum moss which has great moisture retention and stays wet 24-48 hours for them to have a place that's humid. They love to bury themselves in it.

    My little jewls

That's awesome. I'm focusing on Pyxis a. brygooi and live in Riverside County. I know will is down in SD and focuses on planicauda. SoCal is spider tortoise country!!

    Radiated tortoise

Im gonna take a wild guess and say Indonesia??? All the radiata there have no pyramiding whatsoever. It must be due to the high humidity I'm guessing.

    My little jewls

Agreed will. It almost looks like a blonde leopard tortoise if you don't do a double-take. Great photos too. Do you know which sub-species you have? Are these in the U.S.?

    Spider tortoise setup!
