Hello! I he hello. I did have a cherry headed red foot but I had to rehome him with a move across country. I’m now looking into getting a tortoise again as I miss having one. It will most likely be a redfoot! My enclosure height is 72” high.

I’m looking for a recommendation on what size uvb light I should get for my 4x8 foot set up. Also looking for a brand to use. I’ve used reptisun before but not sure if there is a better one out there.

I’m wondering if it’s better to buy coco coir in the brink form or with it already loose? For my redfoot tortoise

Can you guys give me tips on improving his setup! I will be adding cedar bark, my reptile store is sold out right now they get more in a week! The one light about the plants is a plant light then near it is a heat emitter and the far side is heat/light, uvb is mounted inside!

Where in your enclosure do you keep your hygrometer, I currently have mine on the substrate, I use a govee humidity sensor

I have a bio active substrate so it’s coco choir mix what do you recommend for keeping humidity up

I do heat the water so it sprays warm

That’s what I assumed! And my Govee reader tells me over 80 and it sits at his level! I’ve recently been told on another group that he’s way to dry which I do try to soak often but it stresses him out more than I would like.

Does the mist king system work with other nozzles of mist systems or do they have to be specifically mist king brand

How far away do you have your ambient 6000k lighting ?
