Tortoise and box turtle in Central Oregon

I'm looking to rehome my tortoise and box turtle to another turtle enthusiast. I rescued them about two years from a collection at a local facility, both were surplus and were not recieving the tlc they deserved. Lately I haven't had the time for them and I realize that in their best interest I...

    Peeling/chipping scutes

Hi all, I brought my box turtle home over the summer. He was a former animal ambassador at my work but due to the fact he is a grumpy bitey box turtle he wasn't being used and was overall being kept in improper conditions and has quite a few issues I'm working on like his overgrown beak and...

Anyone know what type of box turtle he is?

He's listed in his paperwork as an eastern box turtle, but I've never seen an eastern box turtle who looked like him. Could any of you ID him for me?

    Shell problems

Post spa treatment. Pooped in his bath. Hated the shell scrub and polish. Did better than expected with the beak trim. Hated when I tried to file it smooth though. Lmk how the beak length looks. I was at the point where I was scared to take more so I stopped.

    Shell problems

I was part of his care before he came to live with me and he was kept in an open top on dry substrate so that's not surprising. I'm trying to change that for him. I've still got alot to learn but I'm hoping that I can make the rest of his life as happy, healthy, and comfortable as possible.

    Shell problems

Hi everyone, I just brought home my Russian tort last week. I was wondering if you more knowledgeable people could give me advice on his shell. I just gave him a good once over and I feel like his ventral side looks horrible.
