I have a portable green house in my backyard and was thinking about moving my tortoise into it because I have had troubles keeping his enclosure humid in the past. If he was kept in a greenhouse would I still need a UVB bulb?
I don't know much about star torts but he looks good to me. Looks healthy and is eating. I wouldn't be worried, but yet again I am the farthest thing from a star tort expert.

I wouldn't worry yet, but keep a close eye on him and see if he is acting any different. I don't know about any chemicals on sweiffers besides the pads at the bottom, not the sponge. Just monitor him and if he acts up then I would take him to the vet.
I have heard there are exceptions by species, aren't red foots usually good in small groups? I know that in the wild red foots do tend to be with other red foots.
I know that lots of people say it's best to look for a local breeder first but others say that buying tortoises online is the best option. What do you guys think about purchasing tortoises online?
