I already looked at that page before I posted. I still can't tell if it's just mineral deposits or if it's shell rot. That's why I posted here for advice from people who have dealt with it, and might know up front a yes or no. Please any advice would be appreciated thanks!

THIS IS NOT MY TURTLE. This picture was posted on instagram by one of my followers and I'm trying to help determine what it is. Is it shell rot? Mineral deposits ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated and I will pass it along to the person who owns this turtle.

What size is ur tank? If the map feels he doesn't have enough space this could be a reason.
