There is no concaving, but it is not that flat. Comparing to my 10'' Gpb, it is flat.

I always feel confused about leopard tortoises' gender. I know majority of males have long tails and "V" shape shell notches; and females always have short tails and "U" shape notches. However, I can't determine the gender of the Gpp leopard tortoise in pictures below. Its shell is 13''...
