    Male or Female?

Well now that they are being cared for properly I hope they finally grow like they're supposed to and then I can know for sure :)

    Male or Female?

I'm guessing they are around two years old. I adopted these guys in May from someone who had no idea what they were doing. When I adopted them they were crammed into a 40gal tank together. The big one is 8 inches and the little one is 5 inches. So they've got a ways to go.

    Male or Female?

Hi! I just wanted to ask everyone their opinions on if my two Sulcatas are male or female. I know they are still small, so I guess that makes this just for fun. I just can't stand not knowing ;) Spike is in the first 4 pictures, and Little Foot is in the 3 pictures that are sideways (I don't...

    Hello from Southern California!

Hello everyone just wanted to update you on Spike and Little Foot.. I separated their enclosures and can see a huge difference in Little Foot!! He acts totally different now and loves attention. Any time I tried to go up to him before he would hide. So I'm very happy with that :) Little Foot...

    Sphynx Cats

Hello! Just wondering if anyone knows of a reputable sphynx cat breeder in or around California? I'm in Southern California. I've been researching breeders but I would like some input from anyone that might personally know of a breeder. Thanks! :)

    Round Up

I don't have any advice, but oh my gosh I can't believe your neighbor would do that! I would be livid! I hope Spike is okay (I have a Spike, too!) I would make the neighbor pay to replace the grapes and if Spike gets sick he should pay the vet bills too! People baffle me sometimes at how...

Aw man, I feel like a jerk now ;) I'm just glad I have everyone to help me because if he had done it again I would have stopped him. I didn't know they submerge their head like that to drink :) it was 90 degrees yesterday, and right now it's raining!! Crazy weather (Ventura County)

Around a minute? When I pulled him out he kinda looked at me like, hey why did you do that for? But I didn't know they do that!

    Tortoise submerging head under water??

He's not very tiny, just littler than our biggest one. I'd say 8 inches. I guess that's still small compared to what they will eventually be... And his names Little Foot so I call him "little" instead of anything else ;) I'll just be more careful about when I soak them. But is that why he did that?

    Tortoise submerging head under water??

It's only 90 degrees here but I can't stand the heat so maybe it's not as bad as I think it is. But the tortoises hadn't been soaked for a couple days so I figured it would be good for them.. And like I said they love baths and nothing seemed wrong, just the little guy submerged his head...
