Update: still has a limp but the swelling has gone down, it's not on his upper leg but his ankle so I'm assuming he's been bitten. Going to give the little fella frequent soaks and see how things go
I've checked everywhere, nothing to cut off any circulation. I do think maybe a ant or something and now I'm paranoid about any infections. We will see
I have attached a photo bare with how small he/she is but her leg is a bit swollen?
I do not understand what could be the cause of this or the most likely cause
Now last week he was out for a few hours a day as it got really hot and I do think this is linked to this problem

I have a horsfield tortoise. Currently the foods that my little jingle is on is :
Lambs lettuce
Dandelion leaves
Broadleaf plantain
Watercress
Kale (here and there)
Whenever jingle is outside she/he will eat clovers (even though I do restrict the amount it eats)

I bathe her a few times a week, room temps and the cool end are always mid 20's and basking area is around 31/32', keep the humidity high as well as its only young. I don't know the gender the vet has a suspicions that it's a girl and that's what I'm calling it for now ahah
