Hello fellow tortoise keepers!
My name is Kymm and I live in South Texas. I have a lot of past experience with other exotic animals including breeding professionally and a degree in Herpetology. Although I have been working as a Registered Nurse for 10 years now and have been, for the most part, out of the exotics game since my first son was born in 2002. I now have 3 boys who are sharing my love of reptiles and am ready to play again!
I was gifted a 17 year old Sulcata named Tank. Other than raising a hatchling for 6 years and then having her stolen from me several years back, I don't have much tortoise experience. I'm finding out that caring for this beautiful beast takes a lot of know-how and that this large animal is vastly different than the small one I had previously. So I am here to learn and hope to continue to care for Tank in such a way that he will continue to have a long, healthy, happy life!
