All is well now after a few trips to the vets and trying to get the drugs in him. He is back to his normal self. So happy I went to the vets they were really helpful. I would suggest to anyone else go the the vets as soon as you see anything out if the ordinary.

We are on antibiotics for the moment and will be having a check up some time next week. Fingers crossed it all goes away.

Just got back from the vets. He said looks like septicaemia but not showing any other signs of it so he is calling a specialist and getting back to me. He also gave him a shot of antibiotics just in case. Safe to say my lil guy is very grumpy after the trip to the vets.

He is only 4 at the moment I have herd that they do get duller over time :-) thanks for the compliment will let him know :-)

Vet appointment booked for tomorrow will keep you guys updated , fingers crossed its not anything serious. Also rach.sxo I don't put anything on his shell just bathed in warm water a couple of times a week.

The light (heat/ uv) is above the slate. But he dose not have to me directly under the light to feel the warmth. Also he was walking around on my carpet a few days ago for about half an hour don't know if this might be the problem.

He has beech chips on the floor with a few rocks and bark to walk over. He has had the beech chips for a year now. Here is a pic of the enclosure

Hey, I have had my tortoise for just about a year now and I am forever thinking about his enclosure. I was hoping that you might like to share some pictures of your indoor enclosures just so I can have a look and make any changes. Thanks I have put some pictures of what my lil guy has at the moment.

I just wanted another one for me but haven't got the room for another enclosure so wanted to see if I could keep a 2nd with the tortoise I have. I think I will hold off and just get a second when I have the room for a separate enclosure. :).

Thank you. I have a Hermann's tortoise and have seen them in pairs a lot so thought it would be okay. But mine has been on his own for just a under a year he was with others when I got him.
