I've left my hatchlings outside since they were 2 months old, which is when I bought them. They stay outside 24/7, except for the 3 winter months we have here in Houston, Texas.
I keep them in a safe enclosure which is about 4'x10'. I have plenty of raccoons , birds, cats, and possums in the...
Thanks for the post, doc.
As of this morning, the redness and swelling has completely gone away. I still applied drops this morning and will continue to keep him separated from the other for the next few days. Still lazy though, but he's been that way since winter started.
I cant think of anything, I have two torts around the same age, and it only occurred to this one. I don't see any scratches around his eye, so I think he might have gotten some dirt in his eyes. What's weird is that it's in both his eyes.
I gave him two drops per eye this morning and as of now...

Supplies were right around 225, with all the screws, lumber, paint, and tie-in brackets. We didn't have to buy shingles though, as my dad had some left over from when his house was redone. It's actually my first lumber project, so I'm very satisfied at how it came out. Think I might do a storage...

I lined the inside with more cedar boards to protect the insulation board. I also received the 2 ZooMed heat pads and I think I'm going to have to work something else out because they get way too hot and the thermostat probe will be hard to keep in place with the torts walking...
Ok then, sorry. Mine are about 3" long. Yours don't look that small though. Guess we need something else in the pic for reference. Maybe a quarter or a dollar bill. :D
Mine are about 2.5" long in this pic, took it when they were about 6 months. They're a little over a yr old now and they're 3"...
Started thinking about heating and I'm considering this setup:

OR, get two of these instead of the one heat pad...
My name is gabe, and yes I live in Houston, where the weather is great for sulcatas. My house is 2 story 2250 sqft. on 7600 sq ft. of land, so I have plenty of yard for them to roam. I am addressing their housing for this winter, as you can see in my enclosure thread...
