The enclosure will be 18in tall. Tall so their will be a lot micro climates for the tortoise to find.

This month it will be in the mid 70's and low 80's and one day it will be in the low 90's a couple of days.

I am using a UUVB bulb and a heat bulb I feed her mostly weeds. When I do not feed her weeds I feed her lettuce,kale,collards,carrots,watermelon, and cucumbers.

There is dirt unnder the bark that was not there before the tortoise is a hermann's tortoise about 2 years old and is 4 inches. I feed her calcium every friday.

I have never seen her do this we moved her into a new enclosure, however, we just transferred bark from the old enclosure into this one.

This is my dream setup. However, spotted turtles like tannins and there is not much info on red cheeked mud turtles.

I will get an 8 by 4. I am not 100% the sex so my tortoise might be male in which case it will be 5in. 32ft. Is 55 times the size of the average western Hermann's tortoise female so why is 8 by 4 not enough.
