Excuse me when did I ever mention join shelled warriors????? I do not recall I did.
You are darn rude yourself:
"I might suggest that if you think Shelled Warriors has so much better advice then we do, that you go and stay there and leave us to our crappy advice here."
YET AGAIN DID I EVER...
I wasn't on about earth worms. I was on about parasitic worms. I've got a massive pile of topsoil in my garden but I cant guarantee one of the neighbours cats hasn't taken a dump can I so I don't use it. I buy packaged sterillised topsoil inside and out.
It may of come across harsh perhaps yes seen as in 28C for a cool end and the diet really isn't great! Would you rather me say how fabulous it all is or would you rather me give some CONSTRUCTIVE advice like I have done.
I wrote what I wrote as the diet is pretty abysmal for an everyday...
Steralised topsoil is best, as long as its steralised then get it.

Okay hadnt finished my message! [hr]
Jesus done it again, right as I was saying..... I wouldn't use dirt from back yard as there is the danger of cat number 1 and 2 contamination which could result in worms. I think this...
Nettles are fine to give to a tort...... obvs the nettle with the white flowers is easier to get as it doesn't sting! Dead nettle it is called and it is the one I feed. I don't feed sting nettle much.

I'm not an expert on growth and that but I got told when I bought mine to aim for 2 grams a month and thats what I've achieved thus far. Can you post up their length please in mm? and how old they are?
I feed weeds every day apart from one day a week I may feed pellets... only the pellets because its getting cold and the weeds are disappearing outside.
The ONLY veg I feed... is a rare once a blue moon treat and that is blended butternut squash. Veg isnt really good for Hermanns.... its okay...
Thanks for the comments everyone! The purple flower is 'pink' Red Valerian, though it does look purple in the photo!
