I will soon be moving to a place in Corpus Christi, Texas with plenty of outdoor space. I haven't been on the forum in a while, i've actually been working with some tortoises in a pet store and helping make enclosures more suitable. Since the loss of my baby tortoise, Terra i've been holding off...
Terra was always extremely curious. He always tried to climb on things, and get into tiny crevices. Well.. I checked on him, took a shower, and when I came back he was flipped over under his heat lamp..
It was only about 20 minutes.. But it was enough. I walked in my room and saw he had...
That's a good idea! If I was really into Christmas I'd put a fake Christmas tree in there xD but (despite my name) fall is my favorite season, so Halloween and thanksgiving decor all the way!!
I live in coastal Virginia as well.
My baby tortoise seems to be very agitated that he can no longer go outside. How do you house him during the winter?
I've decided to stick all of his updates into one thread.. Makes life easier..
My mom decide to feed him banana.( I never give him fruit)
He only had a few bites but it was all over his face.
I have several.^_^
He never really seems to nip at them though:/
I have a kitty litter tray filled with different grasses and weeds that I set him in whenever he gets hungry, sometimes ill leave it in his enclosure to Graze on, too.
It's quite cute, really.
