My daughter is moving across the country and can't take her male Russian with her. We would love to find a loving new home for him, preferably with a back yard. He's quiet, well-behaved, likes to roam around and loves red food (radicchio, red lettuce, the occasional strawberry).

He has had the same head of hydroponic lettuce for a week and has barely touched it. He's inside and I have a heat lamp going in the daytime, off at night. There's water in his enclosure as well. Any help would be really appreciated!!
Boris has a chalky substance on his shell. It rinses off or rubs off but comes back. His shell isn't soft. We're in Los Angeles where it's hot. Should I be concerned? Should I do anything? Thanks!!
