Updates on Carl

So, I'm not sure if many of you read about Carl, but I bought him at a pet store because I saw he had been severely mistreated. Carl has 2 missing feet and a couple claws gone.
For those of you who do know of him, he is doing well! Ditched the sand and am currently using a topsoil that's deeper than normal so that he doesn't hit the bottom of his indoor enclosure with his feet too much. I got him a shooter marble as well. It's green and yellow and he is very attached to it. He plays with it regularly. Will post pics of that next time I see him do it. Zany Zoo gave me some money back for the price difference between Hermann's (which they claimed he was) and Greeks. Thanks for all the support guys! Any extra advice? I'm starting a decent sized garden soon for him. Any recommendations? Will post pics momentarily!

I can't figure out how to rotate pics, but here he is! It was getting close to bed time during these pics so he was getting ready for sleep. Except the one where I'm holding him. That was taken this morning
