What kind of turtle is this ?

Hmmm this one is tricky. Im feeling northern map turtle. I dont see black nob map, but I could be wrong.

no never mind. the rim of the shell isn't pointy enough (from the look of the pictures)

-sexually dimorphic - females get huge, males stay small
-feed on shellfish but extremely susceptible to skin fungus problems
-the shellfish diet believed to be a factor in their skin problems
-water conditions critical

This is indeed Graptemys pseudogeographica pseudogeographica, the False Map Turtle.

Identification features include: the "hockey-stick" shaped post-orbitals on the top of the head, the yellow-ish eye, and the yellow-ish beak. This turtle is also a male - both in primary and secondary sexual characteristics.

Its on our priority list to start developing Care Guides on a number of species.

And Anthony - still using the old logo......
