Hi All,
I thought I would add an intro, as I previously posted a question page. Do you guys usually use intro's to keep track of your little guy/gals growth?

Raining again here this morning, so it doesn't appear that Wilber will be spending any outdoor time! I did receive a message that his replacement items and such will be delivered tomorrow! I can't wait to have a weight for him. I did read somewhere in here that the magic number seems to be 50ish to surmount. I have to admit that he has me acting like a new mother again, rather a bit on the nervous side.

In the attached picture he is hanging out in the $25 water bowl the pet shop insisted he needed. I never did think this was a safe option, he seems so tiny. After reading the forum I am glad I never added it to his home. Instead we have kept it as his "bath tub" for now. I can't believe how much the pet shop had wrong!

Thanks again for all of the warm welcomes... and this site has been so wonderful... so much information!

Hello and welcome to TFO.
Ya that water dish would have killed your baby sulcata, most of us use Terra cotta plant reservoirs. Most pet shop people care dumb lol, that water dish is the same type I use for my red eye tree frogs. We have 3 hatchling sulcatas, aren't they just adorable! I know what you mean about nervous, I haven't raised a hatchling in a loooooooong time lol. I barely sleep worrying about them even though I know everything is good.[

Hi Ashley, Wilbur is lovely and your right this place is great for learning how to keep him happy and healthy/
You would think the pet shop assistant would look at the size of him and the dish and realise they aren't are a great match.
Shameless profit making in practice.
At least you've found a good use for it.
