Had a tort for about six months, Almond, (or "Galmond", according to my 2 year old daughter) when I first started out, all my Google searches turned me here, so I figured a join!

I'm planning on building my first enclosure tomorrow, so expect pictures!

I have a russian...he's about 7 inches right now.

We did the typical, go to pet store for dog food, take bad advice from sales guy, and come home with a tortoise routine. Lol.

Unfortunately, he was in pretty rough shape when we got him home. Lethargic, not eating, swollen eyes. After some tender loving care, he's bright eyed with a clean bill of health!

Finally scraped enough cash together to get him a new home!
