Apparently he has just been staring for like 15 minutes at the spot where the magic fog would appear every morning. He did appear to love that thing. Ooowh. Isn't Mr. T's adorable? He is too cute. I agree, he looks so good in the picture above. Nice being an electrician huh? Goes really handy doing the tort works.

It certainly comes in handy.

Last night I came home with an unplanned red foot, and in 30 minutes I wired up a plug run through a thermostat that I could drop into the tank. All for a single CHE so I could keep it at a warm toasty temperature.

Ugh. Tell me about it. I have a motorcycle in the driveway getting dusted with wet snow, leaves still to rake, haven't even done my final mow of the year yet, and the twins are still in a temporary 4×8 nightbox that is heated, but poorly insulated. My tortoise shed hasn't even been worked on for a week now. I was going to spend Sunday at Cedar Point, but with this weather setting in I may be doubling down and making sure I finish it this weekend.

This was one of the rare times I've ever taken them out of their area. But I have a driveway lined with a fence on one side, a house on the other, and a garage at the back. So there was only one direction they could escape, and then I put sawhorses up at the end of the driveway so somebody couldn't pull in and run them over. I was just looking at all the pumpkin guts and knew they would dive in and they did. The twins had a ball.

out of curiosity have they grown since you adopted them?

I think both grew about 2.5 pounds in the month I had them. I decided they were big enough to only bother once a month and they are due for another weigh in next week. I believe last month Frank hit 14 pounds and Hot Lips hit 13 pounds.
