Fantastic Box Turtle Book

Found a few pages of this book on Google Scholar, ordered it, and have been reading it for the past few days. Incredibly in depth. Can't recommend it enough.

Wow, over 200 pages, that's gotta be a heck of a lot of information. I'm just starting to get serious about box turtles again, I'll have to look into this

It's really great. I find it especially helpful in translating field studies into ways to enhance captive care. For example, the habitat section goes into great depth about substrate. What substrates are used in the wild, what time of day they are used, what time of year they are used, why they might prefer different substrates at different times, microclimates, etc.

I have his other publication, "The Complete North American Box Turtle". One of my most favorite books.

I own it and I have read it twice! This book has not been outdone in my opinion.
