If yer wonderin’ if it’s ok toxic wise, then yes it’s okay. But in-that sulcata tortoises are grassland grazers any and all fruit should not be part of their diet. Sugars are great though for any internal parasites. Plus the sugar can have an added bonus of giving tortoises diarrhea and in the case of baby sulcatas or adults diarrhea is something to be avoided. Keep up asking questions, you’ll get answers, even if they are not answers you’d like. Oh, and be sure to go to the specie specific section, and read the threads about sulcata ”beginners mistakes” and remember “there are no silly or whatever questions “.

The cactus itself is good for your tort(green flat pieces) as long as it's also getting plenty of fiberous grass and weeds. I feed thornless opuntia (very similar to prickly pear cactus) to my sulcata a couple times a week. Make sure you remove any thorns if they have not been already. Prickly pear cactuses produce pear shaped fruits(usually purple in color) these I would only feed very rarely if ever.
