I am new to this forum and in search of a safe place to find a Golden Greek hatchling, any help would be appreciated. My 12 yr old son has been doing all kinds of research and has his heart set on one for Christmas...Help

Hi and welcome! This is just my personal opinion, so please don't take it personal. Pets make the absolute worst Christmas gifts. I've seen time after time where young kids / teens receive pets for Christmas and soon lose interest. God bless him for doing his research, but if you really have your heart set on getting him one then I would STRONGLY recommend that you do your research as well. Tortoises are a lifetime commitment!
Hello and Welcome. I agree with the above. Specially a tortoise that needs so much attention in the beginning set up process.
Maybe buy all the stuff he needs for his new friend. Get it all set up and running correctly for a few weeks to a month and then in the mean time keep looking for one. With it being winter it's going to be hard to get one to ship if you can't find one close enough for pick up.
