I've been following for a while but just recently joined and finally saying hello! I am brand new to tortoises so I'm here to learn. I've become absolutely fascinated with them the past several years and I think we're finally ready to add a member to our family. I'm mostly interested in the Burmese mountain tortoises and my goal is to bring one home this year. We're in Ohio which probably isn't the most ideal environment but we have great space for an outdoor enclosure and I'm sure we can tweak whatever we need to to provide him what he needs. Anyways, thanks for everything you guys do! There's a plethora of information here that you can't find anywhere else, glad I found this place.

I used to live up near there (Leetonia), but I found that Cincinnati gets a lot less snow. lol
tell me about it hahaha i lived in cleveland for 15 years, moved to tennessee 2 almost 3 years ago. this is what they consider “snow”
