Hi
I've been using this forum a while now but never signed up

Had my two 3months now (horsefield) still learning

The rock 9 months
Pebbles 10 months
Not 100% on gender but the vet gave her best guess and its looking like I've got a very feminine the rock and pebbles might be a stone(male) XD

Just wanted your opinion on the tortoise table I have built, open to any suggestions

Hello and welcome.

Your enclosure looks too dry and tortoises should never live in pairs. I think russians are about the worst specie of all for living as a pair. THey tend to be very combative and scrappy. It also looks pretty dark on the left hand side. Might need to add more light. I can't see your water bowl very well in the pic, but it looks like the pet shop sold you the wrong kind of bowl for a tortoise with sides that are too steep and high.

Give these a read through for more care info:

The ramped water bowls are a flipping/drowning hazard for tortoises. The ones that recognize this just avoid them. The ones that don't recognize the danger sometime drown in them.

Best to remove it ASAP. A terra cotta plant saucer sunk into the substrate is the best water bowl.
