So early today I soaked my 4 inch Sulcata. He had so much coco coir on his head that I slowly poured warm water over his head to get it all off. He stretched his neck out and seemed to be soothed by it. But after he spent 3-5 minutes blowing water out of his nose. Should I avoid doing this?

Not a problem. You can rinse his head as much as you want.

This is just one reason why I don't use coir for sulcata babies. Fine grade orchid bark works much better.
