Mogali and Oliver have finally moved into their new enclosures.

Both houses have thick plastic at the bottom and on the walls so they can't eat the insulation.

Temps can get pretty high so we have them on thermostates.

I'm so happy both know how to open their enclosure doors and go out their little "doggy doors"

I have even noticed a color change in Mogali (DT) since he's been spending more time outdoors. He is developing a beautiful deep brown color on his shell. 20180321_133401.jpg20180321_133038.jpg

I like your set up. You just need to addnabout 5in of substrate. What is that other tort with the golden color?

You need to seperate them immediately. Redfoots require an enclosed chamber for high humidity. Box turtles can take different temps. No sand, make a hide with sphagnum moss since. Soak it down so its a cool hide for the redfoot.

Easy there… She says in the first post that they are housed separately, and she doesn't have a RF.

I don't own a redfoot. One is a Desert Tortoise that I adopted from Yvonne and the other is a box turtle my dad found years ago in my Californian neighborhood that no one reclaimed

I stand corrected. My apologies for any confusion.

Sweet. Are dt similar to russians? Do you have a pic of that enclosure?

Hi Alex: The RF you're seeing is actually a young desert tortoise she adopted from me. @gabby.santana - your baby desert tortoise looks great! Keep up the good work.
