Sort of like the big pond in central park here. Its been the dropoff for people who no longer care for their pet turtles. There is a big snapper in there.

I had to sell them a couple months ago. I'm getting older and wasn't able to corral them into their shed at night (if they didn't go in on their own). They were a little over 200lbs, and much too big for me to handle. Plus, the bigger one was starting to break fences. Here's the last pictures I took of them:

They're not so little . . . well, I guess, compared to the 200lb aldabrans they are:

The first picture is the male. He was the very first leopard egg I ever hatched, so I kept him. He's about 6 years old now, and the father of all the baby leopards that Will sells at Kapidolo Farms. I raised him dry, on alfalfa pellets, under a hot 100 watt incandescent light with no UVB. Did everything wrong. I have one male and two grown females. The female pictured is not a consistent layer, giving me a clutch maybe once every other year or so. The other female (not shown) lays three clutches a year and most of the eggs hatch. I also have a small rescue that came from Kim in SoCal, that she rescued from a very poor situation. The poor thing is very deformed, but since I've been keeping it in a more humid environment, it looks like the new growth MIGHT be coming in smoother. The first picture was when I first got her/him two years ago:
