My tortoise is tiny

I have a Hermanns tortoise which I bought back in December. On the paper we were given said he hatched in August 2016 in Macedonia. When we bought him from an Exotic pet shop in Paisley called ‘Dragon Aquatics’ (I think it has multiple stores) he was in a box of 20 which we were told had just arrived and there was a number written on each of their shells mine being number one. I really want to know if he is a normal size for his age or if I’ve been given incorrect information from the store. I feed him weeds every day and he has water 24/7 he is also bathed every 2nd day for 25 minutes.

So he'll be two this August? I am not that familiar with Hermanni, but the size looks about right to me. It is a fairly small to medium sized species, so they don't grow very fast. He looks fine to me.

What's his weight and carapace length? Mine is 2yo and is 42g/57mm which I'm thinking is quite small

It is most likely a male, they do not get a big as females.
