I'm not much of a "greens-eater"; what I buy goes to Derby. Derby is a baby. As you can imagine, his food spoils way before he would come close to eating it all. But, what ways have 'you' found to keeps those types of fresh foods nice and "fresh", for more than a day. (Lol)

Don't wash them until you use them. Keep them in a plastic or glass is better Bowl in the crisper part of your frig with a damp towel over them. Should last about a week.

From the grocery store? Or weeds?

Grocery store stuff is treated and bagged in a way to keep them fresh longer; they should be lasting for at least the “best before” date. Just keep the bag clipped shut.

Weeds and such I briefly rinse off when I get home, shake them really dry, then store them with a paper or cloth towel in a loosely tied plastic bag. In the vegetable drawer. Most will last at least a week.

You can refresh greens by soaking them in cool water for fifteen minutes or so but that shouldn’t be needed with stuff from the grocery store.

Only the prebagged stuff from the store will last being store and sealed in the bag. All the other stuff that is sold in bunches not bags or containers will not last without something done too them.

You’re right. I wasn’t thinking about the loose stuff.
