These are my first Russian hatchlings of 2018. They are getting their morning soak and are not very happy about it.

I love watching them explore their enclosure and eat their food. They have a good appetite already. I am feeding them a healthy diet consisting of many different kind of weeds, flowers, grape leaves, arugula, hibiscus leaves, turnip greens, curly mustard, curly endive and kale.

Very nice! As we would call them in our house: "little Stevies"! :D Have you watched them go gonzo for dandelion flowers yet?

Yes, they love dandelions leaves and the flowers. I cannot believe what little pigs they are. They can really eat a lot to be so tiny.

They are eating like little piggys and growing. I cannot believe how much they eat to be so little. They are so cute. I love watching them explore and go about their business.

What are those multi-colored spots on the shells? Identification marks? I want the middle one on the right who is climbing his sibling lol.

I use small dots of nail polish to identify them so I can keep track of their date of birth, birth weight and mother. If you are interested in purchasing a baby Russian tortoise I have some that are now old enough. If so, sent me a message in the conversation section.
