I recently dehydrated some greens for my Leopard tortoise and then put them in ziplock bags. I have noticed they're turning dark. Do ya'll think they're light sensitive?

Pics may be helpful. Is the darkening uniform?

I think if they aren't musty and the bag has NO moisture in it you are probably fine. Is the texture any different?

They are totally dry and there isn't any moisture. The texture is the same as the other ones that aren't dark. I'm going to keep them out of the light and see if that helps. I'm clueless as to why they're getting dark. Thanks for your help!

I put desiccating packs in the jars with my dried weeds to keep out atmospheric moisture.

Looks normal no moisture.
What your method of drying?

Yep. Looks good to me here in Md too. As long as they are 100 percent dry the darker color won’t matter. Great to add to your torts winter food, just slightly spritzed with water to bring it back to life.
