Thanks to a Forum Member (ELOHI), I got my baby coming tomorrow (8/1/2018). She's beautiful and I can't wait to finally take care of my first Leopard. I haven't come up with a name yet, but I'm leaning towards CASPER. I don't know why, but that was the first name that came to mind. Here are a few pics that she sent me of her. How do I know it's a her? I don't, but everybody other than my wife in the house is a boy, so I'm hoping for a 10.2 ratio. That's a beautiful tortoise and though "Casper" doesn't quite fit, it's totally up to you what you call your new baby! I bought a Manouria from Michael Rajkumar, and her name is Rajkumar! I took in an adult female leopard many years ago from a lady in Cincinnati, Ohio, and that tortoise is called Cincinnati. I bought two SA leopards from a guy in SoCal and their names are Tom and Roachie - named after the guy who sold them to me. And they're male and female! An d a young SA leopard whose name is Benawes!

So, you see, it's totally up to you. If you like "Casper" then why not?

That's why I put it up for a vote. I'm on the fence with the name. Lol

Now I understand! I was confused one time when you referred to @ben awes as a tortoise :D

Beautiful baby, by the way. Congratulations

Maybe you can contact her through her. She's awesome! Why do i say that? Because she instant messaged me several times already about my tortoises' welfare. Normally if you buy a tortoise or any reptile from an expo, they won't even care how they are doing after the sale. She cares and just a simple fact of following up and answering my questions proves that. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER IF YOU WANT A LEOPARD TORTOISE! She'll even send you a picture and you pick the one you want.
