They are beautiful. I rescued a pair last month they are very fun tortoise to keep.

Very nice. However, species should never be mixed. New torts should be quarantined before added to the others and they should not be kept in pairs as one will bully the other too illness or death.

Beautiful animal! I have 3 males myself but much younger, They all happily live together in an enormous enclosure. Looking at the plants on your photo's we must live in a simular climate. Saw some in the wild while on holidays on mainland Greece a couple of weeks ago and they were almost entirely black!

*what is a correct quarantined like?
They have many free in the wild in greece ,,,maybe just want a bath
6 months is recommended for quarantine.
I am not sure,maybe about 10!some faster some others take most

I have been trying to put some photos here from my my mobile phone. Uploading takes ages and then around 50% I get an error message. What am I doing wrong.....?
