Update: Sorry guys, too busy. I weighted Toro at 8 Feb and forget to post it. He is doing really fine. He is living outdoor now, but come inside at night. He is very outgoing now, circle around me when i am out watering his plant. Sometimes i want to frighten him just to play with him, well i am bad dad lol. I am doing his night box now, the progress is good, maybe less than 3 week he will be able to use it and life full outdoor. So excited to see this happening, i am sure he is exciting too, because his outdoor, for now, is not so comfortable, not much privacy and not much temperature different. When the box is running, things will be different. His weight is not stunted because living outdoor (well some sulcata did). This is because he is familiar with his outdoor (once a week playing there), in fact i think his appetite is increasing. So here is the weight guysss.. a big fat Toro.

Ps. He is big! His indoor 3ft x 7ft is a joke now, he can't fit in his bath tub long long ago, and his upgraded tub is barely fit him now. I haven't measure him, but i think he is around 10inch.

Monthly Update: Toro is doing great!! He is fully outdoor now. I think he is forming a pyramiding shell. I am on my way to create misting system inside his night box. For now, the humidity inside the box is 50% - 60%. He loves his night box very much!!

Very beautiful tort ! Why is there no substrate? Just curious...
The ideal way is having a substrate. Toro, which is the sulcata, is living outdoor permanently. She is big enough to live that way. I still try to humid his night box.
No substrate because they are on second floor. First floor is a garden which have a bit of regular pesticide which is bad for them. That is why. And no substrate keep them cleaner.
But.. Turbo, the aldabra still living inside and have a substrate, you can go to his own thread in aldabra section.

Interesting...Your sully is perfect and I like the concept. I had never seen a setup like this on second floor. Congrats on your work!

Thanks!! You can go to previous post to see how i did it. The key is humidity. Although outdoor ruined it, well they mean to be outdoor, i'll just do my best [emoji16]
