The short version: Good source for many items and very good prices.

The long version: I tend to figure good prices might mean to skimp on something somewhere, and I thought that happened, but what did happen was a 'look see' at how service and good prices can go hand in hand.

I ordered another Reptibator incubator by ZooMed. Their price is $84.99 (way less than anywhere else I found), and two 48 ounce containers of ZooMed calcium w/o D3. After I ordered I got a call to see if an equivalent weight in other size containers of calcium would be okay, I agreed.

A few days later when the boxes showed up I wanted to see how they compensated on the calcium weight and it appeared they were under the total weight by alot. I reported what I found to their info email and was told it would be made right. Then the person who sought the 'okay' to use other size containers called back and ask that I check the incubator box. I had not opened it as I was not ready to deploy it yet. Sure enough there was the remaining calcium to bring the ordered amount to weight + a few ounces more.

This really caught me off-guard, the number of 'we are sorry' BS stories I hear is too much. So they not only called to make sure a container size adjustment would be okay, they were cleaver enough to not make themselves pay for more shipping. The more smaller containers of calcium would not have fit in their recycling use of ZooMed boxes. The calcium containers inside the incubator were packed so that no harm would come to the incubator itself.

That's how they would seem to offer both great prices and customer service, by thinking inside the box in this case. This has perturbed me enough to write about, That's a good perturbation.

I buy most of my supplies from them. Lights, fixtures, etc. Prices are even cheaper than Chewy and the more you buy the more you save.

I received my order from Reptile Supply and I’m very impressed. I bought coco coir, sphagnum moss, MVB, digital hygrometer, black plastic hide box, mister spray bottle and a small plant holder to use for edible plants all for $80 including shipping. The shipping was rather fast as well. I’m 100% satisfied.
