Ive had my baby Spot since june and I've noticed that his poop has been runny for a few days. I soak him daily and he used to always go potty in his water but now he just poops everywhere. He has Timothy hay, mazuri pellets and organic spring mix available for him eat. He is active and eats. Any advice or ideas? Thanks :)

Couple things need to improve. The water dish is dangerous and can be deadly. They can easily drown in them. Switch it out for a low sided clay saucer. You also need to get the enclosure covered to keep in heat and humidity. Temps need to be no lower then 80 day and night, with 95-100 basking and 80% humidity. You can use plastic to make like a tent over the enclosure. Try to get as much covered as possible.
As for diarrhea, give it a few more days and see if it continues. It may be something it's eaten.

I know that the spinach and radiccio content in spring mix can cause diarrhea in young sulcatas. I would stop giving it altogether and increase its consumption of dark leafy greens such as dandelion greens and fresh weeds. Might be a good idea to increase its intake of the Mazuri for a little while until its poo firms up. Heed Wellington's advice about the environmental factors as well (temp and humidity) as they will aid in healthy food absorption.

The water only goes up to the edge of his shell. The basking spot is right around 100 with the humidity around 60-70%. Do you know where I can find dandelion greens? I tried to find better greens but have been unsuccessful. None of my babies like to eat grass. :/ I'll try to cover it up and see if that helps.

Im not familiar with your area, but in mine they sell it several stores including Meijer, Kroger, and Whole Foods. Escarole is also very good for them. Just remember...variety is the spice of life!

The bowl needs to be flat...with high edges...basically, if you take them out and soak them 1/2 an hour in the morning and another 1/2 hour in the afternoon. After that, there's no need to keep a water dish. In fact, that open tub is not ideal for them...they need a closed chamber...unless your home is 100% relative humidity.

If you live near Laurel ... there is an International Mart (Super Best) right there on Rt 197 that sells dandelion. If you check in any of the local mexican markets..they all have it.
