Today I was given a sample of Fuker's Crafted Cuisine Tortoise Diet. Anyone have any thoughts on this food? I can't seem to find an ingredients list anywhere. Thanx once again

I have 3 Sulcata tortoises that love it.. I feed it more like a side dish to go with their greens (yard grass and other plant leaves) . I try to give them something different every day. I used it as a stimulate to get my older tortoise to eat dry pellets in preparation for the winter. She came to me a picky eater and now she eats everything!! So, I order it in bulk and keep on hand:)

From where do you get it in bulk or do you mean you just buy a lot of it too have on hand? I can only find small bags of it.

I just bought a lot of small bags at once.. I think I got a qty discount and free shipping plus it was already cheaper than the one store (that was 3 hours away)I had found it in. It was an online store but I would have to go back through invoices to tell you which one. ...

I see thanks. Would love to find it in big bags. Kinda crazy they don't sell in large quantities too. After all tortoises get big, well most do. I'll keep searching.

Right!!! If you find it, please let me know!! National Geographic makes one very similar to it but it’s very hard for me to find and an even smaller bag. It’s red in color though .. same size n texture.

Hi team,

I have looked and not found a back label image for the food, nor a list of ingredients or guaranteed analysis. Could you please offer that.

Who was the formulating veterinarian listed on the label for the food?

Thanks much.

I've read numerous pieces cautioning against too much of either tomato or spinach ... are the amounts not enough to worry about, or are the worries about them overblown?

Thanks,

Jamie

I”yes, I’ve read the same. I only feed as a treat . 1 maybe 2 times a week in small amounts.. my diet consists 90% of things clipped out of my pasture so I don’t worry too much about contents in their treats if it’s at least tortoise based. They are all healthy, active, and eat well & poop LOTS , so???

I guess if you are in the psychological profile group of 'giving treats' this is not horrible. More for forest species less for grassland broadleaf eaters.

Thanks for posting the back image of the bag. My quick search did not find it.

I might use it for RF, YF and Manouria, but wouldn't give it to grassland tortoises - too much fruit.

I did get a response to my inquiry, now not so valuable with the posted back label image. But they did respond, so good for them.
