I would love to add another Leo tortoise to our family. I am having a ball with my first IMG_3117.jpgIMG_2975.jpg

Please feel free to message me with any near or around Utah!

That's all well and good if you plan to set up a whole other enclosure. Tortoises don't do well in pairs. You will have a dominant and a submissive, and the submissive will try to stay out of the others' way, hiding in a corner, not eating, growing more slowly than the other one, and maybe even get sick and die. More than two works ok, but just two, hardly ever.

Yes, I understand that. Heck I’m open to two more if I can find the right pair.
And if I ever noticed that happening, I would most definitely separate them. Thanks

The coloration on your little one is absolutely gorgeous! How big is he/she?
I have on about 3 inches and he's just starting to get the lighter coloration.

There isn’t a right pair. In pairs, there is always a dominant and a submissive, and they’re both constantly stressed because one is being bullied and the other can’t get the submissive out of its territory. In captivity, neither can escape.

Tortoises are solitary animals, and do not make friends. In the wild, if they see another tortoise they will fight, mate, or both. If you want another tortoise, please keep it in a separate enclosure.

Thank you so much! ❣️ 3 inches across by 4 inches long. If I’m measuring correctly.
We think he/she’s is pretty great.
We think Edison is really a Edna[emoji23]
