Yeah it's rated a 600 watts so should be ample for the job.
I wondered if you had any thoughts on the crease on boss's shell, Have you see anything like this before?
The crease will grow out over time. I’ve had a few like that. I think it’s just from being folded in the egg. Sometimes takes yrs to grow out.

Im just about to start a build on a new enclose for our two redfoots.

The dimensions will be 8ftx4ft I am wondering how many ceramic heaters I will need of what wattage for the space.

I live in the UK and the house can get quite cold at certain times of the day in the winter.

It will be a covered structure made from ply.

I would be most grateful for any help

Murran

I use just one heater placed in the center.

Thanks for the reply @Anyfoot . We are currently giving them cooked egg or tuna once a week, is this ok or too often?
Do you cut up there protein or put it in whole?

The first 3 I raised I fed 1 pinkie each per week. As I got more babies it became expensive and harder to control who are what. So I started letting them have 1 day per month where I allowed them to pig out on cat meat. I also fed scrambled egg in the past.
I prefer pinkies to be honest. That offers all the nutrients needed.

My Redfoot loves earthworms.
Yeah. I feed them and slugs too. I’ve found some won’t eat worms though. So that’s why I went with catmeat.
I have 2 adults that are scared of worms. It’s weird but true, I have others that devour them.

My Redfoot turns into an apex predator when he spots a worm. Whenever I'm doing yard work he will come over and rummage thru where I'm digging looking for them!

Does anyone use Radiant Heat Panels instead of CHE's?
Hi there! I just finished my sulcata Billie's house about a month ago. I used this heater....

Cozy Products CL Safe Chicken Coop Heater 200 Watts Safer Than Brooder Lamps, One Size, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LX9K1JI/?tag=exoticpetnetw-20

I also got this thermostat outlet which is pretty fantastic! Keeps the temp spot on!

Inkbird Itc-308 Digital Temperature Controller Outlet Thermostat, 2-stage, 1100w, w/Sensor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B011296704/?tag=exoticpetnetw-20

Then I got this for his water bowl! Fantastic too! You can attach it to the wall so they can't knock it over! I got mine from a local farm supply store and it was much cheaper than Amazon. I just wanted to show you what it is.
