I noticed today that my Sulcata shell is getting softer, I've had it for about 2 months and it's noticeably softer than a week ago. I also noticed it doesn't take food like it did before, a few days ago I saw it eat and food disappears some so I know it's eating a little, I did also notice it pooped some, not as much as usual, but still some today.

It's stomach I can slightly push on and it flexes along with the sides of the shell, some of the top seems strong but the stomach and sides are softer than before.

Temp: 95 degrees basking
Around 75-80 on cool side

Feed: hibiscus leaves, grasses, and weeds

Here are some pictures:

Temps need to be 80-85 ambient 95-100f basking. A good uvb fluorescent tube is needed. Could we get pics of enclosure? What's the humidity level? What's its diet consist of? Do toy provide cuttlebone? Calcium supplement? Where did you get your tort? How were they raised?
Take a look at this thread.

Feeding

I increased the temp of my entire room a few degrees and the ambient temps in the cage is around 80+ now and the basking area ranges from around 95-100. I do have a uvb fluorescent tube, which I think it a good one. I can get pictures later today. I'm not sure the humidity level but I have a humid hide which he enters sometimes and I spray the enclosure nearly every day. It's diet consist of grasses, weeds, hibiscus. Mostly just things that I can grow for him. I do not provide cuttlebone and I do have a calcium supplement which I'm giving a little more often now. I got the tortoise around I would say 3 months ago. I got them from here: https://www.sincityreptiles.com/
I followed the breeders instagram for a while (reptilesman) and he seemed good at taking care of them.

Are there news here ? How is your baby tort doing ?
The main question is: Do you soak your tort regularly ? Without soaks and in a dry enclosure the kidneys of a baby tort can quick be damaged because of dehydration. Sulcata baby torts need a humid enclosure ( 85 - 90 % ).
