There's no anger, just desperation for the OP to do the right thing.I think there is much too much anger going around on this thread. I’m guessing this is a joke, because there was no response from this person, and how long could a sea turtle live in fresh water?
No one is angry. Just displaying a sense of urgency because this is very serious.I think there is much too much anger going around on this thread. I’m guessing this is a joke, because there was no response from this person, and how long could a sea turtle live in fresh water?

yep i am thinking the same and i am guessing there taken from the beahes of hawksbay ill be releasing them ASAPTake the turtles to where you think they were taken from and let them go. Let Mother Nature take care of them or not. Your just going to give them a slow death. They are not fresh water turtles as you know, yet you have them in fresh water.
Oh my, pure perfection. I sure hope you do right and I sure hope they do well....
ihave read a couple of articles and found that sea turtlles can be kept in freshwater upto 6 months and then salt water is to be introduced
actually there are even kept in fresh water for starvation and infection treatment although there very hard creatures and can survive most of the changes and i think keeping a hatchling from the begging in the red eared slider enclosure wont be so alarmingOh my. Try contacting one of the links above.
I didn’t know sea turtles could live in fresh water.
Best,
