I am relatively new to the world of lizards. Here are the two I have along with their weights and lengths. I was wondering if people with more experience with these species could tell me if they seem to be on the right track as far as growth etc.
The first one is my blue tongue skink Dobby. He is a little over a year and a half old. 21 inches long, 1007 g.

The next one is my leopard gecko Pebbles. Maybe six months old? Not really sure. She is 6 1/2 inches long and 27 g.

Your northern blue tongue skink looks great to me. Ours is in brumation right now, so I can't weigh her for comparison sake.

Thanks :) I haven’t done brumation with him yet. I would have to research it more before I try it. Maybe next winter.
Ours actually did it on her own. We didn't change anything (photo period or temperature) about her enclosure to influence the behavior. She simply went underground for a couple of months. We've checked on her periodically and offered her water and she's doing great. But, we really miss seeing her every day. I guess natural instinct is a heavy influence on some.

I always shut the light off from about late November to mid February. Room temp in the mid 60s works well for them. They mostly sleep, but they come up and drink or move around once in a while too.
