Sexing my Sulcata Named Leo

Hi All, I have been adopting Leo for about 7 months now. Starting from the size of 18Cm till currently he already reach 29Cm.

He loves to grassing by himself, but I usually give him hibiscus leaves and flower, opuntia and caisim every others day.

We named it Leo with an assumption that he was a Boy. Although we still not sure about this.

Is there anyone here care to let us know whether leo is a boy or a girl from its physical feature?

Too small to tell yet. If we were playing a game, I would guess male - the way the anals are looking to flare a bit and the gulars starting to grow perhaps. But at this size is can still change. You can tell for sure by 38 cm. … or if he should "show himself"! Males about the size yours is often will do that, especially in a bath.

Hehehe, so you mean its a female based on current condition right? Any specific feature you are using to reach that conclusion?

Hi All, thank you for sharing your thought two years ago, now Leo has reached nearly 45cm or 17inch.

Until now, leo not showing any concave plastron and the tail is still short so we assumed Leo is female, then we rename into Shelly hehehe.
