~ Never, I look daily..........they can not escape if it happens, however to my knowledge we have never had a missed clutch that resulted in full term development producing hatchlings. I say this, because i have tug up an old clutch once that was totally rotten.

So the 2×10,s exposed are also used right up against the fence to hold the dirt in.

Every time I see a picture with the dogs' red balls on the ground I worry that a tortoise might get a ball stuck in his throat. Is this not a concern?
